Can you remove any color and type of ink?

The laser hits the ink at 800º C under the skin; this can change the composition of some ingredients of the ink, like plumb and mercury. In any case you would need several treatments per color, and some of them are not treatable by the laser.

Does a tattoo removal treatment hurt?

A small percentage of clients have a risk of scarring, mostly temporary (hyper-trophic scars). We-minimize the risk by treating little dots as they heal without tension and that decreases the risk of scaring. Scarring depends also on your individual healing ability and health of your immune system. Aftercare is very important for a successful treatment.

The risk of scars depends on the professionalism and experience of the technician, the correct regulation of the machine and the number of treatments. Blisters from burns as well as hyper-trophic scars can occur.

Where ends the ink after the tattoo removal treatment?

Laser only pulverize the ink into smaller particles that are spread all over the body. Some of these particles are pushed into deeper skin layers, others are transported by the blood system to liver and kidney and some accumulate in the lymph system. Long-term effects are not yet studied enough.

How long does it take to remove a tattoo?

Always depends on the size. Each area has to be treated only once. Small tattoos can be removed with one to three treatments. You always have to respect the individual healing of the treated area of approximately 8 weeks.

Every area has to be treated at least ten times, often much more. You never know when you are finished. Between two treatments a healing up time of 4 – 6 weeks is necessary.
